are you licensed and insured?
yes, we are fully licensed and insured.
what services do you provide while catering my event?
our professionally trained staff will set up the food tables in the requested style and event type. we will also survey the room, remove trash, bus tables and clean up the food area. we will also pack up the food items and catering supplies, which will be given to the designated individual.
what other services do you provide?
we are able to provide full event party planning and decorating services, professional bartenders and bar service, service staff, plated table service with customized tableware, room design and decoration. we can also setup and breakdown tables, and provide specialized rental items such as tents, dishes, tables, table linens and napkins at an additional fee.
what time will you arrive?
our staff is usually on site one to two hours prior to the start of your event, depending on your party size & type. we use this time to set up and organize the site.
do I need to be there when you set up?
we ask that you or a representative of your party or facility be there to grant us access to your site. you do not need to be present during the time we are setting your space. if you are unable to be there during the arranged time, we do ask that we meet with you no less than 48 hours prior to your event, to go over any special instructions, get keys or discuss final changes.
how far do you travel?
we typically service the central virginia area. we will gladly travel throughout the state of virginia and neighboring states for an an additional travel fee. (2 hour travel time max)
do you charge extra for holidays or weekends? will you cater on sundays?
we do not charge extra for weekends, and yes, we do cater on sundays, when available. certain holidays may carry an additional fee.
do you charge any additional fees?
all parties are subject to state, local and meal taxes. if the event runs longer than 4.5 hours, an additional fee per hour, per staff member will be charged. most events will required event staff for an additional fee.
what if I need to make changes?
we ask that any changes to the menu be made no later than 7 days prior to your event. any increases to the guest amount should be made no later than 3 days prior. guest reductions can only be made within the first 30 days after booking. location and date changes will be made as needed and may incur an additional fee.
what if I need to reschedule or cancel an event due to state regulations or mandates?
if state regulations require an event needs to be reduced or rescheduled, all deposits made will move to the new event or date, and will be valid for 1 year from the original event date. price increases may be necessary due to rising costs or events further than 6 months out. deposits can also be used for a different type of event within 1 year. (eg: from wedding to holiday dinner, birthday, etc.)
what if I need to reschedule an event or move locations?
we ask that you let us know if there are circumstances that require you to move or reschedule your event as soon as possible. we will do our best to make the transition as smooth as possible. an additional fee may be charged to cater the event at a later date.
what forms of payment do you accept?
we accept cash, check, and all major credit cards.
